Netanyahu is er gerust in: de VSA zullen – na de annexatie van de Syrische Golanhoogte – ook de inlijving van de illegale nederzettingen op de westelijke Jordaanoever – goedkeuren. En als Uncle Sam er zijn goedkeuring aan geeft, mag heel de wereld op zijn kop staan, het gebeurt gewoon.
Maar als de Krim – na een referendum bij de bevolking – terugkeert naar Rusland, dan volgen er “sancties” zonder weerga.
Hier moet ik toch een kanttekening bij plaatsen. Israël kan nooit de 51ste staat van de USA worden. Het is namelijk zo dat Israël al de facto de USA heeft geannexeerd, en dit is begonnen na de moord op JFK.
